Historic First Ebenezer Outreach Ministry Incorporation (FEOM) is governed and fulfilling the orders of the Great Commissioner, Jesus Christ. We are ministering to teach the lost, and spreading the word to the sick, poor, shut-in. We are committed to spread the word to everyone, man, woman, boy, girl, black, white, red and yellow. The Word teaches us that God no respecter of persons and everyone is the same in God's eyesight.
First Ebenezer Outreach Ministries mission is to provide service which provides assistance to the homeless, meals to the hungry, counseling, a network of support services, and to enhance the quality of life to all people regardless of race, color, or creed. FEOM offers the "Steps-To-Salvation", Romans 10:9-10.
God has moved us into a place of joy, peace, love, and even material gains so that we will share with those who are in need. By letting the community know how much God has done for us they may learn how much He wants to do for them.
This Outreach ministry will allow the community to get the most out of our congregation through prayer, teaching, service, commitment, and faith. Because we are called by God to be the light that sits upon the hill leading the lost, depressed, hungry, thirsty, sick, prisoners, naked, and the stranger to the only One that can really meet their needs. We feel that reaching out to service others in the community is our reasonable service.
And Because of our mission the FEOM has something for everyone. Come join in and together we can help build the Kingdom of God by reaching out.
Hospital & Nursing Home Ministry
We the Hospital/Nursing Home Ministry have taken on the mission of visiting the sick, shut-in senior citizens and those in the hospital. Bring the Word of God to them through song, praises, prayer and His Holy Word. This Outreach Ministry is open to all who love to bring cheer, love and joy to those not able to attend church services.
Prison Ministry
The Prison Ministry provides after care, mentoring, counseling, fellowship visits, and Family Support to individuals who have been incarcerated. We visit the prisons, detention centers spreading the joy of Jesus with song encouragement, prayer, preaching, teaching and studying of the Bible. This ministry calls for those who can connect with the incarcerated. We have accepted this connection to become part of the Out-Reach Prison Ministry.
Food Bank
The Food Bank/Pantry Ministry of HFEBC id fulfilling its mission of “Taking it to the Streets”. Twice a month we distribute a wide variety of nutritious foods, helping the low-income families and senior citizens from all over the CSRA. We are fulfilling scripture by feeding the hungry and also enjoying a chance of being able to serve the Lord with gladness. We are always looking for individuals who can serve with a smile. Tutorial Learning Lab
The mission of HFEBC Outreach Ministry INC. Tutorial Program is to make available a positive, teaching, loving, spiritual, and Christian tutoring program, focused on the will of God.
- Our Youth, Church and Community are on the rise for a prosperous future by the “Power of knowledge”.
- Education is on the move for the full armor of academic achievers. Therefore we will promote self-discipline, motivation and excellence in learning.
- All aspects of the Church tutoring curricular activities are youth centered and designed to accommodate individual learning styles so that all may have success.
- Our Ministry joins the parents, Richmond County Schools and the community to assist out youth in developing skills to achieve their goals in life.
Our purpose is to help each individual person to grow mentally, emotionally, educate me, and spiritually. To build self-esteem, learn stability, support and self discipline. We will provide educational enrichment activities, enlighten the youth curiosity and love of learning by integrating personalize educational support through our church ministries.
Computer Lab
- Computer lab/classes are offered to all ages.
- Getting to know the computer
At the present time classes are being taught on Wednesday evenings (schedule to be adjusted to fulfill the need to summer vacation). The computer classes are being free of charge and are opened to the public.
HFEBC Gazette
HFEBC Gazette is a monthly newspaper/journal ministry. It provides God's Word, news, inspirational monthly publications, feature articles, and on goings monthly calendar of HFEBC. The Gazette reaches out to the HFEBC'S sick, shut-in's and the community. We are growing, always seeking individuals, journalists, and writers that are inspired to report the "Good News" with print, paper and the pen.
